IT Business Analyst£400 - £450 a day outside of IR35.
6 Month Contract A fantastic client of mine has an urgent requirement for a Business Analyst. The ideal candidate ideally would have worked in a role previously within the same industry allowing them to git the ground running and keep up with the demand of this fast-growing business. They are looking for a candidate who is happy to initially work part remote and be on site 3 days a week as office culture is a large factor and they need someone who is going to have the ability to communicate well with both the non-technical users and the developers within the team. This will be an initial 6-month contract for the right candidate they will also be reviewing this position and consider a permanent basis within the company. The role is based just outside of Manchester City Centre which is easily accessible by car from surrounding areas.
Essential Skills
Collect, analyse, and document business, functional and data requirements from stakeholders and define strong acceptance criteria.Have 3+ years experience of working commercially with data (SQL, ETL or B.)Collect, document and maintain ‘As Is’ and ‘To Be’ business processes.Document solution deliverables within a Functional Specification documentation.Work closely with IT Project Managers and as directed, to achieve the agreed deliverables.Highly organized, with a flexible approach to work, and the ability to multi-task effectively and work as part of a project team.Previous Business Analyst experience within an Enterprise IT environmentGood business facing and stakeholder management skills.Previous experience of writing Functional & Technical specifications.Previous experience of Process Maping (BPI) - ‘As is’ & ‘To be’ processes.Experience of working in demanding user and software development environments.Stakeholder management and ability to challenge where appropriate.Understand Agile / Scrum concepts and delivery methods including backlog grooming / refinement, estimating, planning and prioritisation.
