Lewisham Council are looking for a dedicated Housing Systems Co-ordinator to lead the ongoing implementation and development of our new Integrated Housing IT system.  Lewisham Council is transforming services to meet the needs of our residents in housing need.  We want to make our borough a place where our residents have a safe, secure and genuinely affordable place they can call home.  We are ambitious and seek innovative solutions to combat the many challenges we face as the housing crisis becomes increasingly entrenched.  The role Our Partnerships and Service Improvement team is responsible for strategy and policy development, insight and intelligence and partnership working.  The team has recently led on the implementation of a new integrated IT system which incorporates our Lettings and Allocations, Homelessness, Supported Housing and Procurement functions.    As the Housing Systems Co-ordinator you will be responsible for the effective management and development of this new system.  This includes management of all aspects of data quality, as well as process development.  You must have housing systems experience, ideally with Locata and/or other housing management systems.     Partnership working is key to the role; multiple external and internal partners use the system, you will be required to lead on user group sessions, and provide training and support to all existing users. You will work collaboratively with the Housing management team on system enhancements, responding to legislative and policy changes.  You will also lead on the delivery of housing system related projects, particularly those relating to data quality and systems development.   You will ensure that a robust project management approach is utilised in order to deliver change within time, cost and quality constraints.    What we're looking for  Our ideal candidate will have strong ICT skills with the ability to problem solve and think creatively to ensure the new system meets the needs of its users.  You will be an effective communicator, maintaining close and effective relations with a range of contacts across and outside of the council.  You will be able to work under pressure, manage and prioritise a high workload and adhere to deadlines.    You will have good knowledge of the requirements relating to handling sensitive data and information, particularly in relation to GDPR requirements.   Most importantly, you will be highly motivated and committed to forming an on-going culture of continuous improvement.     In return, we'll offer excellent development opportunities, plus a range of benefits that includes a career average pension scheme, flexible working and the opportunity to make a real difference to our local community.  Further information
