Data Engineer / Developer London to £75k

Data Engineer / Developer (SQL ETL Python). Global games software house is seeking a data centric technologist. You'll be working on complex and interesting systems using the latest technology within a modern Cloud based environment, continually learning and progressing your career.

As a Data Engineer you will collaborate with software developers, architects and Machine Learning Engineers in an Agile environment; you'll be integrating 3^rd party data platforms, building batch and streaming data pipelines for the Google Cloud data platform and enterprise Data Warehouse, as well as building a variety of services to drive intelligence into internal and external products and platforms as they embark on a migration from on-premise Cloud based systems. You'll be working on huge data sets using the latest technologies and will be supported to reach your full potential via training and mentoring.            

Driven by technology this company can offer a remote interview / onboarding process and work from home during the current social distancing measures; thereafter you'll be based in awesome offices in Central London with a wide range of facilities and some flexibility to work from home.

Requirements:

SQL, T-SQL, ETL Data Warehousing skills / experience

Experience of data processing using Python (or Java)

Good understanding of RESTful APIs and / or data streaming

Familiar with Agile working practices

Keen to learn and continually develop skillset through supported training and pro-active self-learning

Ideally you will have some commercial experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS
