Backend Engineer Elixir [Contract]

We are currently looking for a Backend Engineer to join our team in building a revolutionary new interface for interacting with DeFi by building the core engine that speaks to the plethora of smart contracts across multiple blockchains.You will help guide the team to build a fast and robust backend that is deployed to an efficient and secure infrastructure. Work with the smart contract and blockchain team to define a strategic road map and integrate these innovations in a cohesive way.

Key Responsibilities

Architecting and developing the core backend systemsBuilding data pipelines to fetch and process on-chain and off-chain data to be served to the client apps and internal systemsWrite high quality, well-tested code that is easy to extend and explain to otherOwn the entire lifecycle for the components that you build, with these components ranging from features through products

Skills3+ years of experience in software engineeringExperience with Elixir (or Erlang) and Postgres or MySQLCould build a REPL with easeDesigned, built and shipped complex, highly reliable and secure applications in finance or similar space either by yourself or as part of a teamUnderstanding of best practices around developer experience, CI/CD and what a great release process looks like
