We're looking for an experienced Principal Quality Lead with a passion for DevOps, innovative problem solving and continual improvement who wants to become a true technical leader. You'll be working closely with other multi-disciplined engineers and leaders with opportunities to learn and enhance your career, as well as inspiring and influencing the wider organisation as we transform how Jaguar Land Rover builds and operates digital vehicles.

As the Principal Quality Lead, you will need a comprehensive understanding of automated testing in a DevOps environment. As you will be responsible for technical leadership of the Quality culture and automated testing practices across our whole STLC. You will lead the adoption and continuous improvement of Quality culture and practices across the wider Jaguar Land Rover organisation and take full ownership and definition of the detailed quality approach for a variety of cloud-native projects deployed globally including alignment with corporate and regulatory requirements.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

You will have comprehensive experience and technical understanding of automated software testing in an agile and DevOps culture, with deep knowledge of the STLC. You will have proven experience in building automated CI/CD pipelines for testing code and testing cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred) and technologies like Linux, Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge and experience of event-driven microservice architectures, RESTful APIs and message queues are essential for this position.

You will also possess:

Experience with a variety of automated quality tooling such as Cypress, Postman, Puppeteer.

Experience leading and mentoring teams of Engineers at varying levels.

Built and operated bespoke enterprise-grade cloud-native applications.
