Jira Engineer / Developer - Jira/Atlassian - Remote Working.We are looking for a Jira Engineer to join a highly experienced team working on complex projects. Responsible for owning, developing, configuring and supporting Jira/Atlassian products, the team cover various technologies including Jira Confuence and Bitbucket.There are multiple work streams and projects ongoing, with the teams focussed on high quality and reliable tooling to the IT support, project management and development teams, using agile methodologies and best practises.This is a large, global organisation with many brands and stakeholders involved and so the successful candidate will be comfortable working with a broad range of stakeholders and ideally has worked within an enterprise environment.Key Requirements (not all essential):Hands on knowledge of Atlassian products and add on development tools (SDK, API) Git version controlKnowledge of linux systems Experience with web application and complex systems development (Java or Groovy) Knowledge of databases, ideally also knowledge of querying and data structure modelsExperience delivering Jira based CMBD (e.g. Insight) and ITAM solutions would be beneficial. As would be knowledge of ITIL, config management, SRE principals, DevOps and Agile methodologies.
