Grow your career along with our BI function The challenge Often in the public eye, the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) is an evolving public corporation. Essentially, we're responsible for shaping and delivering the regulation of nuclear safety and security across the UK. To perform at our best, we need the support of an expert BI function. As a BI Developer, you'll have the chance to build your skills within a newly formed BI team and IT directorate. The role Our BI function turns data from across the ONR into meaningful information that helps us make important decisions. You'll provide crucial support, through a mix of data engineering, data modelling, data visualisation, reporting and monitoring. Day to day, you'll work with stakeholders to understand their requirements and help the Senior BI Developer to manage the BI analytics service. You'll also help to develop our main BI platform MiONR by gathering data from internal and third party source systems. The person Educated to degree-level in Software Engineering, IT, Machine Learning, Data Modelling or another relevant discipline, you'll be familiar with tools and services such as Azure, SQL, Power BI Models/datasets, Power Automate and PowerApps. You'll also be keen to learn and develop your technical talents, working alongside skilled professionals who'll share their expert knowledge. The rewards We offer competitive salaries at the ONR, with this role attracting a salary of £31,798 - £37,290 plus a London weighting allowance if applicable.
