Java Developer / Software Engineer (Java 11 RESTful API) Award-winning start-up is seeking a skilled Java Developer to join their Agile team who are revolutionising the consumer banking industry in real time.

As a Java Developer you'll work with developers and engineers business-wide to secure, scalable distributed systems using up-to-the-minute technology. Your work will primarily focus on the core platform; a transaction engine, and will help to build public REST APIs that are efficient and secure.

*Please note: this company can offer a remote interview and onboarding process. You'll eventually join colleagues in London-based offices, where you'll enjoy flexible working with the option to work in a hybrid office and remote model, or be fully remote*   

Requirements:

You're a true tech advocate

You have core Java development experience (ideally including Java 8 and Java 11)

You have experience creating RESTful APIs

You're familiar with AWS or GCP

You're a proactive team player who enjoys working in Agile teams

You have a good understanding of CI/CD and TDD

You're naturally analytical and a keen problem solver
