As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you'll work in a highly collaborative way, working closely with other specialists and engineers from LBG, suppliers and partner resources, located in the UK and offshore.

So what are we looking for in you?

You're a dynamic and adaptable individual - able to use & learn new skills & knowledge in varying circumstances

You've a well-developed communication kit bag with extensive customer management experience

A natural facilitator and decision-maker, you'll enable cross team collaboration within the Lab

You'll be a skilled negotiator, analytical in your approach and a keen problem solver

As a leader and motivator you'll nurture team members to create a high performing team culture

And you'll influence positively - demonstrating the right values and behaviours and encouraging this in team members

We'll be specifically looking for these skills on your CV:

Prior work experience at a senior engineering level within the field of Cloud/infrastructure.

Very strong infrastructure skill set with expertise in integration tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Nexus, and Git

Experience in Infrastructure as code using Terraform and Groovy

It would also be great if you had:

Experience scripting languages using Groovy, PowerShell or Bash/Shell

Experience in the following Azure Technologies: API Manager, App Gateway, Azure SQL, Azure firewall, encryption and certificate management.

Proficient in monitoring tools e.g. Azure Monitor/Log Analytics/Dynatrace/Splunk.

Systematic problem-solving approach, comfortable gathering requirements and strong communication skills and a sense of ownership

Knowledge of effective cloud architecture solutions.

What else could you bring with you:

An appreciation of the challenges you would expect to encounter when re platforming both new and legacy applications

Understanding of banking operating model and process frameworks, along with techniques to analyse and improve them
