Senior Software Development Officer

Salary: Up to £35,000

We are recruiting for a Senior Software Development Officer to join the College and enhance existing College information processes, develop and implement new systems to modernise these processes.

You will possess a Level 3 qualification in IT (or equivalent) and a Degree level qualification. You will be proficient in developing systems using C# and asp.net with visual studio. Working knowledge of SQL server database administration will be advantageous.

Experience of programming and database interrogation is essential for this role, to ensure the College maintains a consistent approach to the development and integration of systems and processes.

Your will require up-to-date and practical knowledge of software systems, and experience of developing applications/processes for deployment via intranet/internet or via networks. Responsibilities of the role will include investigating and proposing changes to systems for continuous improvement, and creating/implementing software systems in support of all College areas, and develop the methods by which the information is distributed.

The salary for this post is up to £35,000.
