Job Title: Junior Project Coordinator / Estimator Location: Head Office - Croydon (some nationwide travel required)Salary: £24,000 upwards dependant on experience Job Type: Permanent, Full TimeA bit about us:Meridian Design and Build Ltd have been established over 20 years and due to continued growth in the construction/ fit-out industry are now looking to recruit a full time, permanent Junior Project Coordinator/ Estimator to support their management team to deliver projects nationwide from beginning to the end.Key Responsibilities:Supporting the management team by estimating and tendering projectsSupporting a team with the overall management of projects from start to finishFull project coordinationAttending meetings with Clients and their Design Team, including project site meetings with a strong customer focusAnalysing and submitting tender documentsPreparing bill of quantities/ scope of worksAdministrative responsibilities, processing documents, reading drawings, costing and any other duties required by management teamThe Candidate:Be educated to A-Level standard (or equivalent)Have a degree or HND in either Building Surveying; Construction Management; Quantity SurveyingHave proven experience of project coordination and project planningIdeally have experience in construction or a keen interest within this area / property, quantity surveyingBe self-motivated, personable and have excellent oral and written communication and presentation skillsHave a positive attitude and be adaptable to changeBe commercially astuteHave excellent mathematical skills and proficient with Microsoft excel, plus ideally now Microsoft Projects knowledgeFull driving licenceBe willing to travel and work flexible hours when necessaryBenefits:Holiday - 25 days plus BHPensionOpportunity for Company VehiclePlease note: Please click the APPLY button and to submit your CV and Cover Letter.Candidates with experience or relevant job titles of; Junior Project Coordinator, Estimator, Project Coordinator, Project Management, Project Administrator, Project Estimator, Project Planning, Installation Coordinator, Estimator, Interior Design Project Manager, Operations Coordinator, Project Controller, Project Supervisor, Junior Project Leader, Digital Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, New Products Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, Junior Project Manager, Shop Fitting, Construction, Refurbishment, Building Surveying, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying will be considered.
