DevOps Engineer - London - £60,000 DOEDevOps Engineer - London - £60,000 DOE My client is a leading global consultancy looking for a DevOps Engineer to focus on delivering highly available, scalable enterprise solutions on IAAS/PAAS platforms as part of cross-function teams to engineer modern solutions based on business goals with varying levels of a DevOps maturity. The roleYou will be actively working with clients on digital IaaS, PaaS, SaaS solution strategies, designs, and delivery programmes, transforming their business by delivering solutions and methodologies. You will be implementing and maintaining platforms and services based on the business requirements, constraints and strategies. You will also contribute towards the business units strategy directly through your own personal growth, alongside coaching and mentoring of junior talent. RequirementsMy client is open to candidates from all technical backgrounds looking to crossover into the platform engineering space (infrastructure, development, testing, operations and support).You will be a good fit for this role if you have the following:Experience with AWS, Azure or Google CloudExperience with Continuous Integration Systems such as Hudson, Jenkins, or ConcourseExperience with Configuration Management tooling (Ansible, Chef or Salt)Good understanding of the HashiCorp Suite (Packer, Terraform, Vault, Vagrant or Consul)Experience with Containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes, Swarm or Openshift)Scripting and programming skills using languages such as Ruby, Python, Go and Java.
