For the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) to be a world-leading competition authority and work to the highest professional standards it is essential that our technology is fit for purpose. To help facilitate the successful delivery of the Cloud and End User Computing (EUC) and resolve technical issues, we now have an exciting opportunity for an effective IT specialist to play a key role in our Business Services, IT Department.
As the Cloud & EUC Services Analyst you will provide your high-quality technical expertise to resolve complex escalations from the Service Desk and run bespoke cross-organisational projects; leading on logistics relating to ensuring the CMA end users computer experience is the most effective and efficient possible.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Working closely with the ServiceDesk, Infrastructure Team and AV team to resolve issues as they arise
Providing high-quality support to projects or initiatives to develop EUC devices roadmaps, execute rollouts and upgrades
Using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) to deploy applications, Windows updates, upgrades and operating systems
Engaging in administration elements of the Cloud/O365 and EUC services to ensure system stability
Using SCCM, MBAM and group policy for the deployment and management of enterprise-wide endpoint security
Using Microsoft Intune for the Mobile Device Management of CMA mobile phones and tablets
Proven experience and technical knowledge of working within an IT Operational support position, supporting the following technologies (SCCM, Microsoft Intune for MDM, Office 365 Applications, Azure, Apple iOS, iPadOS and macOS deployment and management with DEP / VPP / Apple Business Manager) is essential.
You will also need experience of supporting unified communications platforms from Microsoft including Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams. The ability to work autonomously is key as are excellent customer facing skills and the ability to successfully manage escalations from stakeholders whilst remaining flexible and willing to carry out any activities in support of projects.
