Main responsibilities

- Build custom business applications with out-of-the-box features

- Evaluate existing systems, solutions and processes and provide ideas for improvement

- Research and understand emerging practices

- Implementation and customisation of SharePoint-based

- Plan content types and deploy custom lists and libraries

- Develop, deploy and maintain client side rendering scripts and SPFx components

- Help to drive the adoption and usage of Microsoft 365 & SharePoint based solutions

- Provide prompt support though the helpdesk system

Required skills

- 2+ years of hands-on SharePoint development experience, creating SharePoint features and solutions

- Experience with design, development and deployment of enterprise level SharePoint portals using scripting tools

- Proficiency in defining and maintaining Taxonomy Term Store(s)

- Best practice information architecture, managed metadata, content types, enterprise search, custom refiners, and search-driven applications

- Demonstrable experience with SharePoint 2016 / 2019 and Online projects

- Implement solutions using as much out of the box SharePoint components as possible

Benefits include

Salary of £38000 to £45000 depending on experience, excellent pension, life assurance, secure free parking, Covid safe offices.

The role is based in Hampton TW12. Some overseas travel may be required when Covid safe. The job is predominantly office based but some home-working can be accommodated. Close to Hampton rail station on South Western Rail
