Skipton Building Society has a great opportunity to join it's growing Systems Development department as a Robotics Process Automation Developer (RPA). This role is dedicated to helping the Society become more efficient, more innovative and easier to interact with. The role is currently remote with the opportunity for flexible working thereafter and with a salary up to £42,500 for the right candidate.

What You'll Be Doing:

You will work alongside other RPA Developers and Analysts as well as colleagues from across the Society with a collaborative approach, supporting the automation of processes and, in turn, enabling our colleagues to focus on value-added activities. As an RPA Developer you will play a key role in contributing to our Society strategy and change processes by interpreting requirements, producing estimates and safely developing and maintaining RPA solutions. Utilising Agile methodologies, you will be expected to work well under pressure and prioritise effectively, balancing risk versus reward and maximising cost effectiveness and profitability for the Society.

What You'll Bring:

As a passionate innovator with desire for change, you will have experience of delivering excellent customer service across a range of areas and taking a proactive approach when considering improvements. You will be open minded to new technologies and a strong problem solver.

Your skills:

- Experience in business process and requirements analysis

- Knowledge of Software Development Life cycle methodologies, particularly Agile

- Exposure to testing and release management - Working with Cloud solutions (i.e. Azure DevOps)

Technologies:

- Kofax Kapow used here at Skipton Building Society

- RPA Tools

- UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere

- Exposure to other programming languages (i.e. T-SQL, PowerShell)
