An excellent new permanent opportunity available for an Information Security Engineer to join a large, global organisation however the opportunity is remote working / home based. Their Information Security department plays a key role in their IT & Change function, even more so during a period of transformation and expansion, both of which are very much happening right now due to various aquisitions and exceptional growth of the customer base internationally. A key part of this role will ensure any key IT security risks are identified and managed for existing IT systems and new projects during the project lifecycle. You will embed effective IT security controls within assigned projects to reduce the transfer of unnecessary risk. You will manage internal and external stakeholders effectively in relation to IT security design, building constructive relationships to deliver business objectives by creating an inclusive, supportive and professional environment. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills and a sound understanding of the key concepts of Information Security. Any knowledge of DDOS protection technologies, linux and/or or scripting with Python/Powershell would also be beneficial. Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS / Azure is essential and you should have a good overall understanding of general infrastructure and networking technologies.
