Business Analyst/Project Manager, OTC Derivatives Trade Processing Investment Banking Experienced BA/PM with current and significant experience of Trade Processing within an investment bank, ideally in OTC derivatives. The role is to work on the primary trade capture, position management and trade confirmation application servicing the Flow and Structured Credit Derivative trading activities of a European Tier 1 Capital Markets firm. It is a business-critical system with a user base concentrated in London, New York and Hong Kong. The platform is a mature, in-house developed trade capture and workflow application where the principal users are both Front Office and Operations.
The You must have full project life cycle experience. Essential Working knowledge of Credit Derivatives products and concepts; or solid IR Derivatives or Equity Derivatives experience. Recent exposure to the trade processing lifecycle for fixed income OTC derivative products, including clearing and client clearing; Knowledge of recent industry changes driven by the Dodd-Frank Act and ESMA-mandate; Demonstrable understanding of the main reasons for success or failure of software development projects;   Desirable Experience of the Credit Event Settlement process; Credible presentation skills, meaning confident public speaking, the ability to abstract or encapsulate information and present it in a way that is appropriate to the needs of different audiences; Knowledge of derivatives risk measures and calculation methodologies; Knowledge of OTC options products; Knowledge of cash bonds processing, including specifics of ABS and MBS products; Previous experience dealing with and training users from different areas including Middle Office, Trading, Sales and the Legal and IT departments; JIRA; working in an Agile team; experience of constructing and monitoring formal project plans; knowledge of formal project process methodologies, eg PRINCE 2, RUP etc. Knowledge of formal software analysis and specification techniques such as state-transition diagrams, workflow diagrams, etc. Knowledge of FpML; XML concepts and capabilities; SQL, preferably using an Oracle RDBMS; Knowledge of Agile software development techniques and methodologies; Familiarity with accounting concepts;   Adlam Consulting operates as an Employment Agency & an Employment Business Applicants must be eligible to work in the specified location
