My client is looking for Verification engineers of all levels to join their brand-new team in Bristol. You will be joining as a Senior Verification engineer working on the latest RISC-V CPU. The exciting thing about this role is the position is a unique opportunity to exercise your Verification skills on cutting edge designs. Whilst my client is a big company this new RISC-V CPU team is a standalone team within the business, almost with a ‘start up’ feel. They are market leading company who create processor solutions within the mobile phone sector. Key responsibilities would include:Design and implement verification strategies to achieve design quality rolesRoot-cause design issues in collaboration with other engineersParticipate in design and verification reviews and recommended improvementsWrite tests in C, assembly, and System VerilogDevelop test-benches, sequences, functional coverage, assertions and other UVM structuresImplement / maintain automated verification flows in languages such as Python / Shell scriptsRequirements
Good knowledge of digital integrated circuit verification techniques and methodologiesExperience of IP or SOC level verification and you know how to ensure quality for tape-outAn ability to determine verification requirements from analysis of specificationsExperience with building test environments in SystemVerilog and UVMExperience of CPU, DSP, FPU architectures or debug and testing methodologiesGood programming and scripting skills (e.g. C / C++ / Python / Shell)Experience of industry standard verification toolsExperience of Version Control Software (e.g. Git / Mercurial / Perforce / Subversion)
