Senior Design and Tendering Engineer (Electrical Distribution Networks)

£35,000 - £45,000 + Pension + Life Assurance + Training + Progression

Are you from an engineering background with knowledge of electrical distribution networks /grid/substation design, looking to join an industry leading company in a stimulating and varied role?

On offer is an excellent opportunity to play a crucial role and join a major player within the utilities industry that are renowned for developing and progressing ambitious candidates.

You will work closely with the Business Development Manager and Project Manager in providing tendering support, cost estimates for job proposals, as well as Providing designs for LV & HV networks supplying both residential and commercial networks across the UK.

This role would suit an Engineer with experience of electrical distribution looking for a key role in Project Tendering and design for a successful growing business offering further career progression.

The Role:Provide innovated electric design solutions that satisfy both customer needs and the needs of internal stakeholdersCarry out an earthing study for all substations, liaising closely with the DNO to obtain the requisite information requiredAchieve high customer satisfaction with our quotation / design / variation processes by working closely with our multi-utility designers to ensure high quality solutions

The Person:

- You will have knowledge and experience of electrical distribution

- Experience using AutoCAD

- Extra High Voltage Tendering or work within Grid or Primary Substations experience
