Technical Manager

£40'000 - £45'000 (Negotiable) + Vehicle Allowance + Good Pension + Progression

Be part of a specialist manufacturer in an exciting technical manager role that will keep you challenged daily and encompass overseeing production of bespoke products used in industries throughout the globe. You'll be dealing with customers and ensuring their requirements are met through bespoke CNC manufacturing and leading the projects yourself. This is a role with huge responsibility and one that will lead into Directorship for the right engineer.

The company in question are part of a worldwide group - at their Newport location they manufacture bespoke products that are used throughout the globe. You will be challenged on a daily basis and have to problem solve, whilst leading the engineering team to meet orders from concept to completion. You will benefit from a good package and Senior Management

progression once you have proved yourself.

Your role;

? Managing customer orders from concept to completion

? Project manage the manufacturing process

? Problem solving manufacturing issues

? Leading the engineering team (20-30 direct reports)

? Working with Senior Management on improvements

You will be;

? An experienced / qualified mechanical engineer

? Experienced from bespoke CNC manufacturing (Valves, seals, similar kit)

? Problem solving ability

? Strong leader and motivator

? Able to improve products through design

? Commutable to Newport or open to relocation
