Working within the Core Infrastructure Services team, this role will play a critical part in managing the capacity and performance of the EUC team.

Role Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Day-to-day management of DVSA's core infrastructure services.

Ownership of operations and maintenance of core infrastructure services.

Identifying opportunities or issues in core infrastructure services.

Ensuring the right resources are available to deliver DVSA's portfolio.

Driving improvements to deliver new and updated core infrastructure services.

Driving automation throughout the core infrastructure estate, adopting modern approaches such as Infrastructure as Code where relevant.

 About You

To thrive in this role, you will hold hands-on experience in administering and supporting end-user hardware (desktops, printers, mobile devices, etc). You will hold experience in managing, maintaining and securing device operating systems using modern EMM solutions, combined with proven experience in application delivery within an enterprise environment. We would love to hear from individuals with an understanding of incident, problem and change management coupled with an experience of handling and resolving complex technical issues within a digital environment.
