Infrastructure / Cloud Presales Consultant / Engineer (Server / Storage / Virtualisation / Cloud) We are looking for an infrastructure presales consultant / engineer to join an expanding organisation based in Leeds, some on site work will be required however this role allows flexibility to work from home and do the vast majority of the work remotely. You will provide cutting edge technical solutions, gather requirements, work through proof of concept/product demonstrations and work with technical architects/engineers to design and deploy suitable solutions from a range of the latest technologies.You should however have a technical background and the ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of technical and non-technical stakeholders, consulting with customers to understand their requirements, preparing technical proposals and tenders and turning the customer needs in to robust solution designs. Architecture experience can be taught and isn't essential, but would be welcomed! Your experience should ideally include:Previous background of infrastructure engineering with technologies including MS Server/operating systems, Virtualisation (VMware, Citrix, Hyper-V), Cloud (AWS/Azure) , Storage. HLD / LLD (High / Low Level Design) of technical solutions Excellent client facing skills, able to communicate effectively at all levelsA strong understanding of the sales life cycle and able to effectively build relationships. Experience presenting and / or representing the company at high profile eventsDriving license is essential for this role as there will be the requirement to visit customers on site at times.
