Looking for an Azure project manager to join a market leading company within the Credit management services. As they are on the lookout for a talented IT Project Manager with Azure experience to join their IT department in their dynamic Kent office.

Role & ResponsibilitiesWork closely with business sponsor and stakeholders to ensure business requirements are effectively identified and delivered to achieve business outcomesWork with project sponsor, stakeholders and IT management to clearly define and document scope and key deliverable, balancing business priorities with stakeholder expectationsDefine project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycleEnsure the project identifies, and delivers, any and all functional and non-functional requirement to ensure a successful outcomePlan and track project time lines, milestones and deliverable using appropriate toolsEstimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goalsEnsure all project deliveries are in line with IT PMO FrameworkMaintain effective communication and reporting with project sponsors, senior stakeholders and IT managementDirect and manage project delivery from beginning to end, ensuring projects are completed in a timely manner, ensuring quality measures and budgets are maintained and trackedEnsure effective management of all project team members and that roles/responsibilities are defined and clearly understoodProactively manage changes in project scope, identify, maintain and review the RAID log, ensuring risk is assessed and monitored on an ongoing basis and issues are escalated effectively and managed to resolutionEnsure that all projects are delivered in accordance with Information Security and SOX standardsEnsure weekly status reports are completed for all areas of the project

Skills & QualificationsAccreditation in, or demonstrable understanding of, a recognised project management methodology such as PRINCE2 and AGILESubstantial experience of project management delivery of SaaS and PaaS platforms (Azure, AWS, Google etc) within IT infrastructure and software development environmentsSignificant experience in managing projects that use the following technologies - Azure databases, Data Factories and PipelinesExperience of working with data and analytics teamsAdvanced experience of technical project management delivery within IT InfrastructureAdvanced experience of project management delivery of the implementation of business 3rd party productsWorking knowledge of the UK financial services/regulatory sector desirableA proven strong track record in successfully managing and delivering multiple, varied and complex projects at onceProven expertise in managing multi-function, multi-supplier teams to deliver successful medium to large scale projectsWorking knowledge of DevOps functionality and developmentExcellent leadership skills and stakeholder management skillsProven history of managing 3rd party deliveriesThorough knowledge of Project PPM toolsetsTrack record of successful project delivery in challenging environmentsBenefits Pension Career progression + Many more great benefitsMy client has limited interview slots so please apply urgently, please send your up to date CV to Nancy Tamplin [email protected] or call 0203 808 7304 for a catch up in complete confidence.
