Governance and Risk Information Security Officer - circa 45K

Established, elite MSP, with clients all over the UK and US, is growing their security department and looking for a Governance and Risk Information Security Officer, to join a team of 6 security experts.

Working client-side, this role demands a security professional with Governance, Risk and Compliance experience. It is highly desired you hold a demonstratable working knowledge and/or experience of ISO 27001/27005 standards, and generalised Governance and Risk management frameworks.

Key responsibilities

*Information Security Governance

*Risk Management control implementation & management

*Carryout continuous vulnerability assessment, response, and mitigation strategies for security operations

*Generate and report on control KPIs

*Internal audit advisor (27001)

*Policy & Process definition and creation

*Report writing

Highly desired

*Risk Management experience

*Understanding of Security policies, Business Continuity and Disaster Planning, Security Incident Response and mitigation techniques

*ISO 27001 trained or experienced. Official certification training can be provided if a competent knowledge is demonstrable by the candidate upon application.

*Teamwork and collaboration skills
