Head of Operations London N4 £95,000 p.a. + benefitsHead of Operations for London based textiles importer & distributorThe RoleAs Head of Operations you will lead the technology and operations teams into the next phase of growth. Technology is at the heart of the business and you will be improving and challenging processes to drive efficiencies, margins and growth, establishing the IT department as a centre of excellence. Your responsibilities will include:Enhancing and supporting the Directors and the wider team in delivering systems and process goals, both short and long termWorking with the non-exec CTO to deliver IT transformation projects such as warehouse management, e-commerce integration and establishing the IT department as a centre of excellence within the companyWorking with the CTO to identify, manage and improve business processesProviding technical knowledge and decision-making to all members of staffProject manage new systems and technology including budget, design, stakeholder management, documentation and implementationAct as an interface between sales/customer service, product, purchasing, accounts and warehouse and IT teamsThe CompanyOur London based client is one of Europe's leading importers and distributors of quality textile products from around the world. They operate from offices and two large warehousing facilities in the UK with their own dedicated sourcing offices / fulfilment centres in China, India, and Turkey.The PersonAs Head of Operations you will have a wholesale / warehouse fulfilment background, familiar with ERP systems (ideally Microsoft Dynamics), warehouse operations, drop-ship and product sourcing processes.
