The Regional Technical Sales Representative / Field Application Specialist will be part of a fast-paced, expanding commercial team focused on increasing B2B revenue in all regions.  This position requires an excellent understanding of optical technologies in the field of healthcare and wellness to effectively communicate value propositions with potential customers.  The Representative will develop and leverage local relationships to position our biomarker sensing technology within consumer wearables/med Tech.  The individual will work closely with the VP of Sales and Marketing in laying out yearly strategies, quota targets and coordinating support required from the commercial marketing and technical teams. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Gain an understanding of the technical details concerning our sensing technology and the expanded capabilities it provides to potential and existing clientsFirm knowledge and understanding of existing healthcare-related sensing applications in the consumer wearable market;Technical Learning: Demonstrated knowledge surrounding industry, companies, products, and technical aspects;Develop sales and marketing strategies that target B2B customers and positions our products as the best solution for prospective clients;Strategic Agility: Clearly articulates value propositions with customers;Effectively manage existing customer relationships, while generating high-quality sales leads with prompt follow up after initial meetings with new customers;Action-Oriented: Enjoys working hard and seizing opportunities;Identify opportunities to improve customer interactions and communicate those issues and possible solutions to the broader commercial team;Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively to all levels inside and outside the organization;Achieve sales goals and quotas on a quarterly and annual basis;Drive for Results: Bottom-line oriented and can be counted on to exceed goals successfully;EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field requiredDemonstrated sales experience with strong technical acumen required5+ years experience in B2B salesExcellent communication and leadership skillsTechnical experience in optical technologies or spectrophotometry desiredOrganisational Values: Customers, Results, Innovation, Excellence, Teamwork.
