This company are a small but growing Managed Service Provider in central London, where they deliver full end-to-end services to their clients. Their clients range from finance houses to bars, clubs and recruitment services. Being small and providing the full range of services means that you get to deal with multiple technologies and enhance your skills in these areas. Where you feel you would like training they will facilitate this for you too, both internally and external training.

While they believe great service and professionalism are critical to having happy customers, they also know that there is more to life than just work, as a team they have a good laugh on most days and often meet up for a few beers too (when allowed).

They are looking for a good all-rounder but are particularly needing an engineer who is comfortable configuring managed networks - which is a growing focus of the business. You will not need to take the lead; but will need to know your way around network devices to configure them according to their general setup/standard. The technologies that they tend to focus on from a network perspective are: Fortinet, Ubiquity/Unifi and Cisco.

Part of the role will need you to attend client sites (central London), typically every other week to provide desk-side support. The remainder of the time you will be working from home, providing business as usual support.

- Networking - WAN, LAN, Security, SSL, IP Routing, Switching

- Office 365 (licensing, setup, migration)

- Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP etc

- Anti-Virus platforms such as SentinelOne

- IP telephony

- Keeping documentation (ITGlue) up to date

Summary

- You will provide onsite IT services to their clients in London

- The successful applicant will be someone who has good experience in solving IT related problems with at least 4 years in a similar position
