Python Developer Reading to £55k

Python Developer / Backend Software Engineer *Remote Interview WfH*. Want to work with a team of technologists where you will be actively encouraged to learn, share knowledge and develop your skills within a supportive technology driven environment?

You could be joining a technology start-up that provide white labelled ticketing platforms to the likes of Amazon. As a Python Developer you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of new products and the enhancement of existing services; you'll be working on B2C eCommerce websites and API development for white labelled products with a focus on backend development using Python.

There are several technical challenges to tackle including migrating to a microservices based architecture, moving infrastructure to Google Cloud and simplifying the system to allow for scalability.

This Python Developer role presents an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in a small but rapidly growing company with excellent career progression opportunities.

There's currently a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home; in time you'll join colleagues in the Reading office for part of the week (2-3 days).

Requirements:

You have backend development experience with Python

You have good database and SQL knowledge

You have strong analysis and problem solving abilities

You're collaborative with great communication skills

Desirable: API development experience; experience with highly scalable low latency applications; familiar with CI/CD; Google Cloud Platform
