Software Test Engineer

About the role
We are currently looking for a Software Test Engineer to join our growing Software department of 80 developers and test engineers. This is an exciting time to join the test team within the department as we are making significant investments in improving our testing capability whilst also adopting agile development practices throughout the department.
The Software group are responsible for the design, implementation and testing of the software for all Domino coding and marking products whilst supporting and developing our infield products. Within this role you will become part of the wider test community and help support and drive our testing function forward.
Key contributions within this role involve being a member of an agile test community with particular focus on automated testing, supporting teams to deliver tested software of a high quality ensuring it meets both functional and performance requirements.
The role encompasses many areas and allows you to utilise and expand on your skills and experience to support the high quality of delivery of products from Domino R&D through automated software testing.
Your working day will incorporate many of the activities below;
To be successful in this role you will need to have experience in embedded software testing and programming (Python preferred). In addition, experience in software QA and testing, in depth knowledge of software QA and test function, tools (e.g. Jira and XRay) and processes (BDD/TDD) whilst working in an agile environment is essential.
