Softare Test LeadLeicester£35,000 to £43,000 +2/3 days a week remote + Package Excellent opportunity for a Senior Software Test Analyst to join a strong and stable company in a highly varied and interesting position. Through this period a lot of companies have struggled due to COVID-19, however due to working with a range of key clients this organisation has continued to thrive. Through development and workload increase they are looking for a Software Test Lead to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will be a test analyst with experience of software testing life cycle. Any experience within the energy industry is beneficial, as is ISEB. The Role:*Analysing project documentation to ensure thorough understanding of system or product change. This could include business requirements documents, product specifications, use cases or process flow diagrams.*Manage and coordinate testing allocation and workflows within the Testing Team.*Producing relevant test documentation and test scenarios to ensure effective testing of any changes and target test plans for each testing phase.*Producing test effort estimates to support the project plan and agree test prioritisation where relevant to ensure prioritised testing can be completed within target timescales.*Executing testing on behalf of the operational business units and managing temporary business testers assigned from relevant operational teams for the purposes of supporting user acceptance testing where required. Acting as testing expert to provide support and guidance to operational units where required.*Maintain, implement, and adapt a set of testing practices and standards for the internal test function, for software testing and quality assurance. Creating Regression Test packs for all existing systems and products.*Over time becomes the Subject Matter Expert in the company's applications and their functionality upgrades, assisting in their integration into appropriate business areas. The Person:*Hands on test lead role, not managerial*All systems on Codas ERP. Needs a good understanding of what ERP is*UAT - User Acceptance Testing*SIT - System Integration Testing*Moving to Azure, all cloud based technology*QA - Quality Assurance & Test background*Website testing experience*Infrastructure Testing
