Excellent role on offer for a Commercial/Contract Manager to join an expanding business where you will work on a range of interesting projects within a company with excellent progression opportunities.

Do you have experience working within the Rail, Civils or Construction industries as an Commercial or Contracts Manager? Are you looking for a long term role offering excellent progression opportunities where you can grow alongside this expanding business?

This well-established train operator, manage a large portfolio of stations and depots throughout London and the South East. They manage the stations, buildings and depots ensuring that the infrastructure and customer journey is up to standard.

They conduct builds, upgrades and maintenance on all aspects of the rail portfolio which they manage. Operating over 25 different stations across London and the South East. This award-winning group operate over 8,000 trains per day; with a reputation for providing an excellent service to their customers, both passengers and stations.

In this role you will working within the growing Asset Management team under the supervision of Asset and Property Director. You will be expected to prepare, plan, execute and manage asset based activities delivering high quality solutions from inception to completion as efficiently as they can be completed. These assets include buildings, footbridges, platforms and depots. Manage cost and programme requirements on renewal works. Undertake inspections of site and contractor safety standards and efficiency. Liaising with different internal and external stakeholders towards project delivery.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience ideally within the Rail industry working as a Commercial and Contract Management. You will also have a background/qualification in Quantity Surveying ideally. Knowledge of an wide array of contract conditions (NEC/JCT/standards commercial contracts). Excellent negotiation skills, commercial awareness and attention to detail.
