As England's independent regulator of qualifications, examinations and assessments, Ofqual's job is to maintain standards, to make sure that qualifications accurately reflect the knowledge and skills people have attained through a range of different learning methods.

We work with other Civil Service departments across the spectrum of education to deliver on our priorities and to ensure the best possible outcomes for learners in England

We are looking for a developer to work as part of our brilliant IM team. Over the past five years we've transformed how Ofqual uses technology so that it enables the organisation to deliver what it needs. Our journey continues as our solutions are evolving to meet the growing needs of Ofqual's work. We use MS Azure technologies to deliver digital, data and technology solutions and are hugely proud of the difference we make to regulation and of the positive impact we have on our technology users. As part of the IM team you'll have the opportunity to work with leading edge technologies and cloud services, in a team with a proactive, solution-driven mind-set and collaborative approach to working with our users so that we deliver outstanding DDaT solutions and a great service to them.

As a full-stack developer you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary agile team to deliver bespoke digital services to aid our colleagues across the business in the regulation of qualifications. You will be working with a ReactJS, C# .NET and SQL stack to build, maintain and support secure and well-tested solutions that meet our user needs.

If this sounds like the role for you, please do not hesitate to apply now!

Ofqual is a rewarding, dynamic place to work. The team strongly encourages flexible working and personal learning & development. Diversity & Inclusion is important to us. We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment.
