Market Risk Developer (C# .NET)

International Banking Group - 6 Month Contract

PAYE Umbrella: £500pd - £550pd + 17.3% PAYE Uplift*

Currently Home Working, Later Central London

As a preferred and trusted recruitment partner to this international banking group for over eight years, we are assisting in the hire of a contract Senior Risk Developer to join them on an initial 6-month contract within the Market Risk IT Team.

This team is responsible for enhancing a Middle Office Market Risk system which uses the third party Markit Financial Risk Analytics (FRA) simulation and pricing engine that provides cross asset overage to calculate market risk measures. An in-house .NET based application layer integrates the FRA into the bank's proprietary systems.

The existing application is being decoupled into a new 'MRA Service Framework' which will encompass a number of microservices. This will enable the Market Risk system to move to the cloud and to facilitate segregation of functionality so services can be developed independently.

Skills / Experience Required

*C# Development (ideally large scale with Microsoft development stack)

*C# .NET Core REST Services / DotNet Core 3.1 Web Services

*Microsoft SQL Server

*GIT/Team City

*Unit Testing and Integration Testing

*Full SDLC Experience

*Experience working within investment banking technology environments.

*Beneficial: Experience of Continuous Integration (CI), Python, Docker, Angular reactive forms, Front Office / Middle Office Experience, Market Risk Reporting (PV, Sensitivity, Stress, VAR, P&L Rec), Markit Financial Risk Analytics.

*Inside IR35 (PAYE Umbrella): This contract is Inside IR35 and you will need to contract via an Umbrella company on PAYE. The day rate on offer is £500 - £550pd + a 17.3% uplift. The uplift covers Employer's NI (13.8%), Pension (3%) and the Apprenticeship Levy (0.5%) so that these are not deducted from your day rate.
