Our Mission

We're on a journey to build the bank of the future, and we need your help. We're continuing our extensive transformation Programme, redefining what a bank is from the inside out. Become part of our diverse team where you'll impact the lives of more than 26 million customers through brands including Lloyds Bank, Halifax, Bank of Scotland, and Scottish Widows.

Why we're doing this?

We're committed to Help Britain Prosper and become the best bank for customers. As part of this, we're redefining our digital capability, providing customers with simpler, continuous interactions across online, mobile and branches. Our digital platforms (public website, mobile & tablet app, and internet banking website) are where the majority of customer and colleague interactions with the bank take place. They are becoming increasingly sophisticated with the introduction of public API's, growing numbers of devices to access them from and evolving operating systems.

The team

We're the Data Transfer and Management Services Lab building and managing the future centralised digital nervous system, using the power of our existing batch technologies centred on IBM's Infosphere DataStage stack, alongside our emerging cloud strategy and streaming analytics capability to get closer to our customers. All this is underpinned by excellent Data Management delivery through the latest industry tooling and strong governance practises.

This will be the backbone of our Event data processing hub. Our goal is, within the confines of strong governance, to democratise Lloyds Bank's dataset. We're currently supporting 1'000's of processes across the Bank, acting as the Enterprise Data Integration and Management function within the Bank for Retail, Risk, Fraud, Customer insight, Commercial and Corporate.

The next phase of our transformation is moving more into streaming of data and cloud technologies underpinned again through Data Management tools and techniques to meet data needs and our team will be right at the heart of that transformation.
