Job Title:Senior Development Engineer / App SecInside IR35 Location:London Department/Practice: Job Purpose and primary objectives: Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team):
Role Purpose Looking for people with very strong python ( +3 years) experience having exposure to web frameworks and be Full stack. Experience with AppSec Tooling is essential. Core skills needed ? 5+ years of Hands-On Web Application Development experience ? Proficient in Python Flask / Django / FastAPI and Javascript (preferably ReactJS) ? Must have knowledge and experience of queue technology (i.e. RabbitMQ, etc.) ? Strong Debugging skills (Stack traces, log files, and other system outputs) ? 2+ years of Cloud Engineering experience (Alibaba, GCP, AWS, Azure, etc) ? Must have knowledge and experience with FaaS (i.e. lambda, cloud functions, etc.) ? 5+ years of Any flavour of SQL (MySQL, DB2, Oracle, etc) ? 5+ years of System Admin skills (Configuring / managing servers, Linux / Windows) Other essential skills needed ? Build and deployment automation tools i.e. Jenkins, Ansible ? Automated testing experience, be it unit, regression and acceptance testing ? Strong experience implementing micro-service designs ? Knowledge of Governance, Risk & Compliance ? Automation and Orchestration driven mindset ? Good verbal and written communication skills ? Ability to work in a fast pace and team focused environment ? Proven record and capable of delivering and completing assigned tasks, as individual and as team. ? Willingness to continuously learn and share learnings with others. ? Mentoring and guiding of junior team members ? Leadership and teamwork Desirable (but not essential) ? Experience using OpenFaaS ? Security Testing experience (i.e. use of automated testing tools to find defects at all stages of teh SDLC) ? Knowledge of Vulnerability Scanning / Pen Testing / Red Teaming Background ? Public work portfolio highly advantageous (i.e. in Githhub)
