We are passionate about training, technology and career development.Role DescriptionOur Client is a leading cloud platform and cognitive solutions company. We are seeking a Release Manager to join our Client who has prior experience successfully managing the e2e delivery of new releases. The successful individual will work remotely, with potentially to be based at the London or Berkshire office 3 days a week. Key accountabilities and decision ownership:Managing the end-to-end delivery through the gating process and governance of new releasesTracking and managing Release delivery, and Configuration update activities (risks, issues, and actions). Ensure release changes are fit for purpose (meet requirements) and ready for service (supportable).Ensuring that the changes to configuration items have been mirrored in the CMDB.For each Secure customer create a forward schedule of security/vulnerability patching changes to support account achievement of vulnerability management SLAsCreate change records in the account Remedy tool for patching changes and route these to the appropriate team to processLiaise with technical teams to drive changes to approved status with technical resource assigned for implementationAttend customer CABs to represent Release changesTo seek customer approval for Routine & Emergency Release change requestsTo take ownership of a query or issue relating to a Release change.Core competencies, knowledge and experienceStrong analytical and reporting capabilitiesExcellent ability at managing and monitoring releases in multiple distributed environments and proven track record in a Hosting Industry.Technical / Professional Qualifications: Completed relevant ITIL Lifecycle and Capability ModulesAbility to change and quickly adapt in a dynamic Hosting environmentExcellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
