Solutions Engineer / Architect London to £70k

Solutions Engineer / Architect *Remote Interview WfH*. Would you like to work on cutting edge security / encryption products and progress your career within a friendly and informal environment?

You could be joining a successful and expanding Cyber Security software house based in Central London that provide encryption and information security products to a range of finance, government, defence, law enforcement and pharmaceutical companies.

As a Solutions Engineer / Architect you'll play a key role in the overall success of the business; working within the Technical Services division you will be responsible for a wide range of requirements from traditional presales functions to the design and delivery of new Managed Services based around the company's evolving product set and complementary technologies. You'll became a trusted advisor to clients, building strong working relationships with customers.

There's a broad scope of responsibilities including supporting the sales function to articulate technical and business value, you'll drive technical evaluations, pilots and proof of concepts, own and respond to RFIs/RFPs and deliver customised product demonstrations. You'll collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to manage customer issues and ensure success.

There's currently a remote interview / onboarding process and work from home during the social distancing measures in time you'll join a diverse team, working in a relaxed software house environment (i.e. non-corporate, casual dress, table football), in Central London offices with some continued flexibility to work a hybrid model between home, office and client sites.

Requirements:

You have strong commercial experience in a similar Solutions Engineer / Architect / Pre-Sales position

You have a strong technical understanding of Microsoft Server and Desktop technologies

You have a good understanding of Cloud Technologies including design and deployment of solutions in AWS and/or Azure

You have experience with data security, risk analysis and an understanding of the different threat models in the information security space

You have experience with virtualisation technology including VDI environments.

You have high level Linux (Unix) configuration including networking, firewall and VPN experience

You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, are pragmatic and comfortable working with clients

You hold SC Clearance (or able to achieve it, i.e. 5 years UK based experience)
