Job Title: Domain Architect Digital Systems & Information Location: WalsallSalary: £41,881- £46,845 per annumJob Type: Full Time, Permanent and Fixed Term availableClosing Date: 31st May 2021The RoleWalsall Council has an exciting opportunity for a driven Domain Architect (Digital Systems and Information) to join the ICT Architect team, led by the Enterprise Architect.Working closely with the business and ICT colleagues the post holder will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of ICT Digital Systems and Information architecture enabling digital transformation in line with the council's ICT Strategy whilst ensuring appropriate confidentiality, integrity and availability of all Council information held in electronic systems.Key duties:To be responsible for the design and development of the council's ICT Digital Systems and Information architecture to meet the current and future needs of the CouncilTo contribute to the security and integrity of all Council information held in electronic systems.To provide expert coaching/ guidance to other staff within ICTProvide leadership and a strong sense of direction and purpose within the team(s) for which the jobholder is accountable.To negotiate and/or manage the financial resources required to support the Business Plan and to manage service provision within the allocated budget.To maximise opportunities for external funding in so far as these are compatible with agreed Business Plans and corporate objectivesResponsible over: ICT team members who may be seconded to the Enterprise Architecture team for a specific purpose, ie delivery of a projectWorking outside of normal office hours may be required periodically.
