Transforming Data and Insight Programme Director Executive Level 3 - up to £95,000 per annum
Contracted Hours: Full-time 37 hours per week, substantial part-time will be considered
Contract Type: 12-months Fixed Term/Secondment opportunity
Location: Flexible home-based with regular travel to CQC London office (as restrictions allow) Closing Date: Sunday 23rd May 2021 at 11.59pm
Interview Date: TBC Are you committed to helping us regulate health and social care within England? We are looking for individuals who are caring, demonstrate integrity, work well as part of a team and always strive for excellence in everything they do. Help us make sure health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care and encourage care services to improve. Let us tell you a little bit about the role.... Within CQC we are implementing a new strategy and transforming how we work so that we can keep pace with the changing health and care landscape and ensure people receive safe, effective care. Becoming an insight-driven organisation is a critical component of our new operating model. The ambition of the Transforming Data and Insight programme is to create and mature a service-focused data and insight function. The programme will modernise the technology we use to manage and analyse data; formalise the governance, processes and ways of working around data; drive new data culture, behaviours and skills to enable us to maximise the use of data and insight in our regulatory activity. We are seeking to appoint a Programme Director on an interim basis to be responsible for planning and executing all activities from maturing the business case and onboarding a delivery partner through to delivering all elements of the target operating model for the new function. What we're looking for from you... You will be an inspirational engaging leader and have the integrity, resilience and resourcefulness to make change happen, no matter how challenging. Whilst you do not need to have detailed experience of health and social care, you will have a strong track record of implementing organisational change with a focus on becoming more insight-driven in order to meet business goals. Experience of being responsible for, or directly managing, data management and data migration activities is a must as well as being a credible communicator, capable of influencing direction at senior executive level. As a Programme Director, you will work collaboratively with Leaders and colleagues to deliver the organisation's core purpose. Underpinning all of the above, we expect you to be committed to CQC's values of Excellence, Caring, Integrity and Teamwork. To apply for this role, please upload a copy of your CV and submit a Supporting Statement (no more than 750-words) describing how you have led a previous programme of business change impacting the whole organisation, with a major focus on data and insight, to successful delivery.
