I am recruiting a Senior React Native Engineer on behalf of a leading global digital transformation business.
My client, a leading digital transformation agency, partner with technology teams of the world’s biggest organisations, including Google, Microsoft, and AWS, harnessing the latest technologies to deliver greenfield, enterprise-level applications and software.
As Senior React Native Engineer, you will play an integral part in any project you work on, utilizing your React Native expertise and defining how mobile is used by some of the world’s leading organisations.
Aside from your immediate project work and team, you will also play a pivotal role in driving and cultivating the culture of the internal mobile development community, sharing knowledge, leading meetups, and being a go-to person for anything React Native.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Taking a holistic view of your project as a wholeShaping our internal mobile communityDelivering high-quality work and acting as the gatekeeper for quality on your projectHelping less experienced teammates set their agenda and balance their workload.Helping drive project planning sessions and shaping the product roadmap.Presenting technical ideas clearly, with the right level of context for everyone to understand.Contributing to the growth of our team by evolving our hiring process and interviewing new teammates.Communicating with senior client stakeholders and third parties.Being available to offer engineering support to new business demands, such as new-client pitches.Providing career guidance and mentoring for less experienced teammates.
Experience:
Writing mobile apps using React Native.Proficient with Native frameworks, e.g. (Data persistence and security frameworks).Applying common architectural approaches.Collaborating to design elegant, mobile-optimised interfaces to a backend.Version control systems such as Git.Using third party dependency management tools such as Cocoapods.Writing automated tests.Working in an Agile environment.Applying common engineering principles, e.g. SOLID, DRY.Continuous integration.
