Role: Graduate IT Configuration Analyst

Organisation: Northern Devon Healthcare Trust

Salary: Trainee Band 6 or 7 (£26,523 or £31,152.10) Dependent on experience

Location: Barnstaple (North Devon)

Contract length: Two-year fixed term

The Organisation

Northern Devon Healthcare Trust provides acute and community healthcare to the population of Northern Devon. Northern Devon Healthcare Trust and the Royal Devon & Exeter NHS Foundation Trust have begun working on a proposal to integrate the two Trusts. Following Epic being implemented as part of the Transformational MY CARE Programme across the Royal Devon & Exeter NHS Foundation Trust the MY CARE Programme and Epic EPR will now be implemented across NDHT.

This role will largely be based in Barnstaple with the possibility to also work from offices in Exeter and to work from home

The Role

Our configuration analysts will work with a multi-disciplinary team to configure the Epic powered electronic patient record, to suit existing and proposed workflows ensuring MY CARE is implemented on time and to budget.

The Candidate

Any relevant IT Degree would be beneficial however not essential.

Ideally experience of system design and development however this is not essential. An eye for detail with the ability for translating complex information into simple language to suit a range of audiences.

Experience of working in the NHS would be preferable but not essential.

Skills and experience

Experience of programming preferred however full training will be provided by Epic so not essential.
