DevOps Engineer London to £85k

DevOps Engineer / Technical Lead. Are you a senior DevOps Engineer seeking a role where you can take a lead whilst remaining hands-on with technology?

You could be joining a FinTech solutions provider that produces a highly functional suite of software products to support post-trade processing for clients including most of the financial institutions across the globe.

As a DevOps Engineer you will be instrumental in supporting, maintaining and improving the infrastructure and production systems; you'll implement DevOps technologies and processes including Containerisation, CI/CD pipelines, IaC, metrics, system monitoring and perform regular security monitoring. You will also help diagnose the root cause of any systems issues, automating systems and processes wherever possible to ensure issues don't reoccur.

As a senior member of the technology team you'll help to drive best practice and collaborate with software engineering teams to help them adopt DevOps practices, continually seeking improvements and pro-actively recommending new and emerging technologies.

You'll be joining a professional, upbeat and motivated team in modern offices in the City with flexible working hours. Driven by technology the company is able to offer a remote interview / onboarding process and the ability to work from home during the current social distancing measures.

Requirements:

You have strong Linux engineering / systems administration skills (they have Debian OS)

You have experience of setting up and managing server build automation tools including Ansible and Puppet

You have strong Python scripting experience to automate manual tasks

You have a good knowledge of CI/CD

You're experienced with Firewall set-up, configuration and management as well as Network and Hardware management

You enjoy collaboratively problem solving, taking ownership and continually learning / sharing knowledge
