Design & Planning Engineer - GIS/AutoCAD

£24, 000 - £28,000 (12 Month Fixed term contract), 37.5 hours/week Mon-Fri

Are you a graduate or experienced Design Engineer, with knowledge of CAD & GIS systems looking for a prestigious position with a national utilities company, offering a long term contract with potential for extension/permanency?

The company are a leading national multi utility infrastructure provider, who have grown rapidly over the past 10 years. They will look at graduates in Power/Electrical Engineering and more experienced utility distribution designers.

This role will have responsibility for migrating data from AutoCAD drawings to the GIS system. You will also provide multi utility design and technical GIS support to the business and assist in the maintenance of drawing and GIS records.

The role: Full time, 12 month fixed term contract position with the design team of a large national utilities company, possible extension/permanencyResponsible for carrying out data migration from AutoCAD drawings to GISUndertake multi-utility network assessments to assess networks against design parameters.

To apply you should have: 1.Working knowledge of CAD and GIS systems2.Experience of migrating data would be beneficial3.Excellent communication skills and a UK driving licence
