Broker Carrier Service AnalystCity of London
£30,000 - £40,000 per annum
Main purpose:
To support the Broker & Carrier Services (BCS) Manager in the teams internal broker and carrier support services, comprising policy administration, technical accounting, credit control and reporting responsibilities, as well as the teams wider regulatory reporting and data quality responsibilities.
Responsibilities include:
* Receive, validate and allocate bureau signing messages on policy administration systems.
* Submit cash and non-cash premium settlements and claims movements via DXCs IMR and CLASS/ECF platforms.
* Service binding authority and quota share treaty business using policy administration systems, IMR and DDM as appropriate to set up and monitor contracts and process premium and claims bordereaux and treaty statements, as well as calculating and settling consortia fees.
* Assist with the co-ordination and submission of regulatory returns such as Quarterly/ Annual Solvency Reporting, Part VII and Gross Quarterly Data.
Required experience:
* Current and relevant experience in a broker technician role (or similar), essential.
* Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (or similar), particularly Excel, Access and Word
* Understanding of Xchanging processes and systems, including the IMR and ECF/Class, and other market systems such as DDM
* Experience of policy and signing message processing on London Market Policy Administration Systems
