Junior Data & Systems Analyst

1 Year FTC - to £23,000 + Benefits

As a trusted and preferred recruitment partner to this global publishing agency, we have been asked to assist in the hire of a Junior Data & Systems Analyst to execute the tasks required for various data quality initiatives and to provide effective systems support to users of finance and publishing systems. There are three positions available, all one-year fixed-term contracts.

The Role

*Support data quality initiatives (assessing, cleaning, and loading data in bulk, blacklist data reviews, etc.)

*Maintenance and bulk loading of title data on third party title databases (e.g., Amazon Vendor Central)

*Provide 1st Line Support on business applications (Biblio, VI Portal, Focal Point, Dimensions and Cognos), escalating issues to colleagues and vendors where required.

*Manage the support queue in Zendesk.

*Assist with systems testing and systems configuration.

*Fielding and investigating issues with data feeds to third parties

*Using third party ticketing systems

*Referring data issues to responsible business staff for correction

*Producing reports on data quality and open issues for the Business Systems team

Skills / Experience Needed

*Customer-focused with a professional, patient, and friendly manner

*Conversant with Basic IT Concepts

*Strong Systems Aptitude

*Excellent Attention to Detail

*Good Microsoft Office Skills (Especially Excel)

*Beneficial - Experience with Biblio3 Software a plus

*Beneficial - Experience of ONIX a plus (Online Information Exchange)

This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level individuals with a keen interest in Data Analysis, Systems Support, Application Support, Business Intelligence / Reporting, IT Support, and the Publishing Sector.

Our client's offices are based in London; however, you will initially work full time from home until the office re-opens. Upon re-opening there is some flexibility on working location, however you will be expected to work a minimum of two days in the office per week (up to three days working from home per week) so should be in a commutable distance to the office.
