We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our Newman community, to lead the transformation of our digital services.

You will be responsible for all aspects of Newman's digital estate, providing strategic and operational leadership to the University on all aspects of Information Technology in support of the University's strategic objectives. You will have responsibility for the development and delivery of the University's Digital Strategy and for the line management and professional leadership of IT Services, with responsibility for an operational budget of approximately £700k p.a. and a team of 15 IT staff. You will lead the IT Department and set its priorities, managing its resources and budgets. You will work collegiately with students and staff from across the University to translate user and business needs into effective digital solutions and services.

We are looking for someone with demonstrable strategic level experience of architecting, designing and delivering organisation wide Digital and IT solutions. You will need to be natural investors in people and teams, work collaboratively across the organisation and have a track record of innovation, attainment and success.
