What we do matters: making a difference to people's lives now, and for generations to come. We offer a diverse range of flexible working career opportunities: roles that are stimulating and rewarding. And it's important to us that we recruit from a wide range of professional and personal backgrounds - bringing different perspectives and experiences to our work.

This is a great career opportunity for someone with extensive experience as an Azure engineer and an excellent knowledge of core Azure services. You'll be part of a highly capable team of infrastructure specialists and engineers, and you'll play a central role in supporting and developing Ofgem's Azure Landing Zone to support new services and the migration of existing service to the Cloud. You will work to ensure that services are integrated, delivered and operated as required, working with third parties to provide infrastructure services and collaborating with technical architects to translate architectural designs into operations. You'll help to develop and enable automated monitoring processes, robust security features and network analysis tools that ensure stability, reliability and security.

Your previous Azure experience should have included extensive use of Microsoft Azure Operational and Monitoring tools and you'll offer an informed understanding of Microsoft Identity and Access Management products such as Azure AD, ADFS, Azure AD Connect, Conditional Access, Azure AD Proxy, SAML and Active Directory Domain Services. You'll be comfortable working with Azure's build, deployment, automation, networking, and security technologies in cloud and hybrid environments. We also expect that you will bring a detailed knowledge of computer operating systems such as Windows Enterprise and Server.

Ofgem is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We embrace diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. All employment is decided on the basis of open and fair competition, merit and business need.

Ofgem can offer you a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
