An opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer to support a well established client with a varied portfolio on a permanent basis at their Sheffield site. You will be working on the full life cycle of multiple projects for bespoke customer requirements including Nuclear, Defence, Material Handling and Special purpose machinery.In this role your day would be full of variety, honing your technical development further, being involved with the full life cycle, producing functional design requirements, control panel design, power calculations understanding customer requirements to provide realistic solutions that can stand the test of time.You will have the opportunity to work closely cross department and utilise your already extensive experience of hardware design of Electrical control systems within heavy machinery and large scale material handling systems. Safety will be at the forefront of your mind and the efficient delivery of bespoke solutions in line with strict compliance standards without compromising on quality. This would suit and Engineer well versed in the Electrical Design of control systems that are keen to step up or continue their career as a Senior working on more complex control systems.
