Infrastructure Engineer London to £70k

Infrastructure Engineer (Windows Networking). Would you like to work on complex, technically challenging systems within a supportive, technology driven environment that promotes continually learning?

Collaborating with the Technical Operations Manager you will be responsible for supporting the core platform which comprises of the network (LAN/WAN, IPSEC, routing); the virtual estate (VMWare); Storage (NetApp) and Operating Systems (Windows / Linux).

As an Infrastructure Engineer you'll look for ways to continually improve the availability and performance of the platform; proactively seek ways to automate manual processes; assist in developing the product roadmap; deliver technologies that are scalable, repeatable and are able to process high volume transactions, ensuring that security guidelines are adhered to.

They're currently able to offer a remote interview and onboarding process as well as work from home with a view to returning to the office as soon as feasible, with some continued flexibility (one day a week at home). Requirements:

You have a strong knowledge of Windows OS

You have strong infrastructure troubleshooting skills of interoperating technologies; you're passionate and want to investigate, understand and remediate abnormal systems behaviour

You have experience of Cisco network design, administration, monitoring and troubleshooting ideally including Palo Alto Firewalls / Network Security; TCP/IP, BGC

You have a good knowledge of Virtualisation, ideally VM Ware experience

You're a collaborative team member with excellent written and verbal communication skills

As an Infrastructure Engineer you will earn a highly competitive salary (to £70k) plus substantial bonus / benefits package.
