To delivery for tens of thousands of families every day Iceland operates one of the largest and complex Salesforce Commerce Cloud sites, together with Salesforce Service Cloud & Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Purpose of the role:

As a Developer within the online team, you will be working with an experienced group of technical people, specifically working in one of our squads focused on the portfolio of Iceland websites, maintaining the content of the sites, creating new features, building components our customers can interact with, A/B tests, campaign support, smaller platform developments for the Iceland.co.uk site, creating tools and developments to complement our Mobile Apps.

Day to day activities:

Work with fellow developers, UX designers to deliver new enhancements and features

Implement trading related content changes - e.g., page creation, carousels, banners, modals etc

Setup of A/B test campaigns and implement successful changes in core code base

Development of microservices / campaign toolkits

Development of our portfolio of non-transactional sites

Small features / bug fixes for our Commerce Cloud sites

Development of web views for our mobile apps

Skills:

Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, SCSS & HTML

Familiarity with other JavaScript frameworks; Node.js, React.js

Understanding of eCommerce

Any experience with Commerce Platforms, CMS tools

Any experience with Cloud computing, AWS, GCP, Azure
